Blanche's third blog post

I think the message of the book She Said Yes is to stand up for what you believe in. I say this because right before Cassie got shot, the killer asked her if she believes in God. Cassie said yes. If she said no, then Dylan or Eric could have changed their minds and kept them around. They could have shot her because of her religion. But she stood up for what she believes. Also, when Cassie was in a very bad stage in her life, her parents could have just not cared and let her make bad choices but they stood up for what they wanted for their child and took everything very seriously. So i think the author wants the reader to learn that it's okay to believe something different than someone else. But don't let them push you around about it. Stand up for yourself and your beliefs, just like Cassie and her parents. Stay Strong.
